Gather at the Reid Center from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 to enjoy a FREE presentation that combines music and cuisine with a multi-media cultural history of Mexican regions to better understand the origins of the various musical styles and regional cuisines as well as their significance to the diverse peoples that make up Mexico.

Jeff Hamilton Jazz Trio Holiday Concert
Kick off the holiday season with the Jeff Hamilton Jazz Trio performing a holiday concert. Originality is what this Richmond native and internationally renowned versatile drummer Jeff Hamilton brings to the groups he performs with and is one of the reasons why he is constantly in demand, whether he is recording or performing with his trio, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, the Clayton Brothers or co-leading the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.

Richmond's 1st Annual Piano & Acoustic Blues Summit
Starr-Gennett Foundation has partnered with The Reid Center to bring together Indiana and Ohio blues musicians who represent an array of blues styles in The Reid Center's gorgeous, historic auditorium, featuring the venue's original Starr Piano.
We'll begin the evening with a banquet and acoustic blues jam catered by The Cater Box. After dinner, the party moves upstairs 7:30 p.m. for an intimate musical experience. The concert portion features several of the region's finest piano and acoustic blues artists, including Jimmy D Rogers, Delta Duo, Chris Yakopcic, Will Scott, Bob Dellaposta, Whiskey Shambles Duo, Achilles Tenderloin, and more to be announced throughout the fall!
Tickets are $20 for the concert and $25 for dinner and entertainment prior to the concert. Enjoy a discount and purchase the combo ticket!

Phantom of the Opera Silent Film with Jonathan Hampton at the organ

But none of its successors can rival the mesmerizing blend of romance and mystery that haunts every frame of the Lon Chaney original. This edition presents the 1929 theatrical version, restored from archival 35mm elements by Film Preservation Associates.
