Valentine’s Madrigal Feast
The Reid Center is once again celebrating lovers of every suite by reprising its fabled Valentine’s Madrigal Feast.
The Reid Center’s evening of Renaissance revelry, repast and romance will begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the merry hall located on the corner of North 11th and A Streets in Richmond, Indiana.
A major fundraising event, the cost of the popular Valentine’s Madrigal Feast is $75 per person.

Reid Center LIVE at Noon! proudly presents a series of free concerts on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 12:00 noon, through May. On Wednesday, February 19th at 12 noon, we welcome three artists for our “Wintery Mix”. Courtney Cummings, soprano, Frederick Chatfield, organ and piano along with Charles Ramsey, guitar will continue the 2025 season of Reid Center LIVE! at Noon.

Christmas at Reid Center
Bring the family and enjoy a one-hour program of seasonal music and readings in the beautiful, historic Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church and Community Center. Christmas at Reid Center has become a tradition at the holidays and features readings, choral and instrumental music. Due to the popularity of the concert, it will be offered at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17.

Silent Film: Nosferatu, featuring Jonathan Hampton, organ
With the help of Jonathan Hampton’s amazing accompaniment on our historic Hook and Hastings pipe organ, we usher in the Halloween season with the classic silent horror film, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
An unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu remains to many viewers the most unsettling vampire film ever made, and its bald, spidery vampire, personified by the diabolical Max Schreck, continues to spawn imitations in the realm of contemporary cinema.
Tickets are $10 per person and are available online or at the Old National Road Welcome Center, 5701 National Road East, Richmond, Indiana.

Gospel Concert featuring Dayton Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc.
The Dayton Chapter of The Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. features black gospel music. The international musical organization was founded in 1967 by the Rev. James Cleveland. GMWA’s purpose is to promote African-American gospel music through academics, workshops, performances, and new artist development. Sones de Mexico Ensemble presents "Fiesta Mexicana"
Fiesta Mexicana is a 45-minute interactive concert for kids and their parents based on an album of the same name. It involves all the musicians of Sones de Mexico Ensemble. The program includes seven or eight songs and a fair amount of storytelling and interactive games between the songs that can be delivered in English or in Spanish.
The group embarks on a journey through Mexican music and the magic world that surrounds it. Free admission, no ticket required.
"Beyond the Music: A Musical and Culinary Geography of Mexico” with Sones de Mexico Ensemble and Chef Dudley Nieto
Gather at the Reid Center from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 to enjoy a FREE presentation that combines music and cuisine with a multi-media cultural history of Mexican regions to better understand the origins of the various musical styles and regional cuisines as well as their significance to the diverse peoples that make up Mexico.

On Wednesday, April 17, surrounded by the magnificent Tiffany windows of the Reid Center, Leanna Hieber channels the talented artist Clara Wolcott Driscoll, designer of iconic Tiffany lamps and the manager of the Women’s Glass Cutting Department of Tiffany Studios from the late 19th century to 1909 in "By the Light of Tiffany: A Meeting with Clara Driscoll" . Little Shop of Horrors! (1986 Film)
Join us on Sunday, April 7 for an immersive Little Shop of Horrors experience! During a total eclipse of the sun, flower shop worker Seymour discovers a strange, new plant that turns his Skid Row community upside-down. Admission: $10.
Community Arts & Crafts in the Great Room
Project 1118 and AS Artefacts have partnered with The Reid Center to host FREE arts & crafts activities in the Great Room. A variety of guided art projects will be available for visitors of all ages, including the construction and decoration of colorful eclipse viewers.
This community arts event is made possible in part by a grant from Richmond UEA (Urban Enterprise Association), as part of Eclipse of The Arts weekend in Downtown Richmond.

Celtic Holiday Concert: Blackthorn’s Bards and Bettina Solas
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with an evening of live music at The Reid Center. Richmond's own Celtic folk-rock band, Blackthorn's Bards has provided Richmond area festivals with melodic, high-energy, Celtic folk-inspired entertainment since 2012. As an update to tonight's lineup, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Bettina Solas will open the show.
