Tour the Reid Center

Sue King explains the history of the Reid Center and its Tiffany windows.

If you haven't had a chance to see the gorgeous interior of The Reid Center, this is your opportunity. Local historian and Reid Center board member, Sue King, will be on hand to tell the story of Daniel Gray Reid and his gift of the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Tours will begin at:

  • 11:30 AM on the first Wednesday in February, March, April and May. (Feb. 5, Mar. 5, Apr. 2 and May 7)

  • 11:00 AM on the first Saturday in February. (Feb. 1)

  • 11:00 AM on the second Saturday in March, April and May. (Mar. 8, Apr. 12, and May 10)

Visitors will experience the amazing interior that was entirely designed by the Tiffany Glass Co. of New York City. Every window in the building is a Tiffany window! The former church is a national treasure and is finding new life as a performance venue and community center. 

This is a free event.

Tiffany Studios stained glass window depicts the resurrection from inside Jesus' tomb.

This beautiful memorial window, created by Tiffany Studios, is located on the north side of the Reid Center. It features Jesus’ resurrection from the unusual perspective of inside the tomb.
